Important Notice Regarding ICC Kyoto Catering Service
All participants are responsible for determining, at their own discretion and responsibility, whether they are able to consume the food and beverages provided by the ICC Kyoto Catering Service.
The ICC Kyoto Catering Service and ICC Kyoto shall not be held responsible for any adverse reactions, health issues, or other consequences arising from the consumption of food or beverages, including those related to food allergies, dietary restrictions, or individual health conditions.
1. Food Allergy Accommodations
- At events, ICC Kyoto Catering Service offers a food allergy-friendly menu that does not contain any of the following nine
specified allergens.
Nine specified allergens (as of April 2026):
Shrimp, crab, wheat, buckwheat, eggs, milk, peanuts, walnuts, and cashew nuts - For allergens other than those listed above, ICC Kyoto Catering Service will accommodate requests to the extent possible based on the information available to us. However, we cannot guarantee that all allergens can be accommodated.
- Allergen information provided by ICC Kyoto Catering Service is based on ingredient and food labeling information provided by raw material suppliers and food manufacturers.
- Participants should consider their own health condition and any advice provided by their attending physician or other medical professional, and make their own decision as to whether the food is suitable for consumption.
Possibility of Cross-Contact (Unintentional Trace Contamination)
Please be aware of the following points regarding the possibility of cross-contact when consuming these menu items.
- Food allergy-friendly menu items are prepared in the same kitchen as dishes containing allergens. Cooking utensils, cleaning equipment, and other facilities are also shared. Therefore, there is a possibility that trace amounts of allergens may unintentionally come into contact with or be mixed into the food.
- For dishes served buffet-style, tongs, tableware, and other serving utensils may be shared among multiple dishes. In addition, cross-contact with other dishes may occur when participants serve themselves.
- Food allergy-friendly menu items do not guarantee the complete removal of allergens.
- Participants with severe food allergies or those who require the complete removal of allergens should exercise particular caution when consuming these menu items.
If you require a food allergy-friendly menu that excludes the nine specified allergens, please contact us at least 30 days
prior to the event.
Please note that requests received less than 30 days prior to the event cannot be accommodated.
