The 13th Earth Hall of Fame KYOTO Commendation Ceremony

At the 13th Earth Hall of Fame KYOTO Commendation Ceremony and international symposium, the award ceremony, panel discussions, and talk sessions took place in Annex Hall 1. During the panel discussion, inductees Dr. Murakami Kazue and
Dr. Nishioka Shuzo spoke with Dr. Juichi Yamagiwa (Director-General of the Research Institute for Humanity and Nature)
on the theme of “what can we actually do now that we have realized the limits on the Earth”. After that, Dr. Murakami and
Dr. Shuzo had a lively talk session with high school students.
In Annex Hall 2, there was an exhibition with booths about environmental initiatives from companies, students, and organizations.
