The 32nd Meeting of Japan Glaucoma Society

The 32nd Meeting of Japan Glaucoma Society took place from September 10 to 12, 2021 with registrants of 1,580.The number of local participants: about 500. Initially, it was planned to be held jointly with the 9th World Glaucoma Congress, but due to the influence of COVID-19, it was held separately. A hybrid format was adapted and most of the presentations were available on-demand  after the conference. A part of sessions was used a simultaneous interpretation function on Web meeting system for participants on the Web. In addition,  as a transmission prevention measures, participants took their temperature not only  at the main entrance but also at the entrance of Exhibition hall, and stickers were distributed to people with normal fever to visualize the temperature measurement.
