文字の決まり事を離れた新しい墨の造形の試みに留まらず、紙を貼り重ねるという試みもなされている。
飛沫やまだらの模様による顔料の重なりや、複数の紙の重なりが時間の重なりを複雑に表現し、篠田 桃紅氏の美しい墨跡の線が会場入口の特徴付けと柔らかさを醸し出している。
The piece is an experiment in new ink forms that deviate from the rules of letters, as well as an exploration of layering papers.
The layering of pigment with splatters and mottled patterns, as well as the layering of multiple papers, are a complex expression of the accumulation of time. Toko Shinoda’s beautiful ink strokes bring character and softness to the entrance of the room.
